One to One
Discover your own gateway to relaxation,
peace and well-being
Classes are available online or in person or a combination of both.
Online sessions are via Skype which are easily set up on your computer/laptop. Other online medium can be considered too. In person sessions would be a Natural Mindfulness Walk where we would spend time in nature exploring and practising different Mindulness practices and outdoors Meditations. This would be an excellent opportunity to put into practice everything you learn during the sessions.
Who would benefit from these sessions:
-
If you are looking for a custome-made programme made specifically to meet your individual needs and budget
-
If you are looking for a way to quieten the busy mind which has caused some amount of stress, frustration, chronic anxiety or persistent low moods.
-
If you are unable to easily or willingly let go of repetitive thoughts, past mistakes, regrets or grudges.
-
If you are easily distracted or overwhelmed.
-
If you are seeking a more natural way to wind down after a long day at work or from constant planning and ruminating about the future.
-
If your life is so hectic and you would like a bit of a "me time".
-
If you are interested in learning and developing a "tool box" of skills on how to remain calm and relax.
-
If you are interested in developing your focus and ability to pay attention at work or at home.
-
If you are experiencing lack of aspiration and missing some "la joie de vivre" or joy for life.
-
If you are looking for another way to re-connect with life and nature through your senses.
-
If you are struggling with managing your response to chronic aches and pain.
-
If you would like to learn additional ways to help you cope with peri- or menopausal symptoms.
-
If you are seeking a gentler and compassionate way to go through life with loss, grief and trauma.
-
If you are looking to deepen your appreciation and gratitude for day-to-day experiences.
-
If you would like to enrich the quality of your relationships with those around you.
-
If you are interested in developing self-compassion, patience, gratitude, forgiveness and acceptance hence building your resilience to myriads of life's ups and downs.
Before the session:
We can chat over the phone or via video call (FREE 30 minutes) to disuss your circumstances, needs and what you would like to achieve from the sessions with me. You will also complete a set of questionnaire to further help me design a bespoke programme with your circumstances and needs in mind.
What to expect during each session:
Sessions will usually begin with a "settling meditation" to gently shift our focus from the day to the present moment.
I aim to provide a safe, confidential and peaceful space where you can share as little as you want.
No special equipments required but a good internet connection would allow a smooth video call.
Dress code is casual and your comfort is the most important thing throughout the sessions.
Each session will include teachings of Mindfulness interlaced with easy to follow meditation practices. Recordings of guided meditations can be sent to you via Whatsapp or WeTransfer.
All the meditations are to train the mind on how to "put a welcome mat" to any and all experiences, thoughts, emotions and bodily sensations, NOT about emptying the mind.
Each session is focussed on developing your "mindful toolbox" to help you respond to your life challenges.
Questions, discussions and sharing of experiences are warmly welcome.
In between sessions:
I would design specific home practices to help you develop your skills while you are at home, play or at work.
These "home practice" would complement the recordings of the guided meditations.
You can email, message or ring me for support and guidance on how to sustain your practice.
Duration of sessions:
A minimum of 5 sessions although ideally 8 sessions spread across 8 consecutive weeks are recommended. This is to ensure that you have gained enough basic knowledge, experience and understanding of the
concept and attitudes of Mindfulness.
8 weeks would also be the minimum length of time for you to develop a healthy habit from regular meditation practice.
It is possible to extend the sessions after 8 weeks should you wish to do so.
Consecutive sessions can be on a "pay-as-you-go" basis.
Depending on individual's circumstances and needs each session can be from 1 hour to a maximum of 2 hours.
ALL classes are suitable for beginners, complete novices and also for those who wish to deepen their mindfulness & meditation practices.
